Lot and the Journey to Safety: A Story of Sodom and Gomorrah

Long ago, there were two cities named Sodom and Gomorrah. The people who lived there had forgotten how to be kind, helpful, or fair. Abraham, a man who always tried to do what was right, heard that these cities were in danger because of their bad behavior. Abraham was worried about the people, so he asked God if the cities could be saved if even a few good people lived there. Sadly, it turned out that only Lot—Abraham’s nephew—and his family were trying to follow God’s path of kindness. Because Lot was a good person, God sent messengers to warn him and his family to leave the city quickly to stay safe.

The story is based on the book of Genesis 19:1–29 in the Bible. This is illustrated for children’s story.
